I saw an ad on Instagram for boiler suits and I thought “You know what? You have always wanted a boiler suit, Ross. Treat yourself”. So now I have a boiler suit and my life has improved immeasurably. I move through the world with purpose and others can only perceive me in slow motion.

Fun side-bar here. I recently bought a DJI Neo, which is a tiny little sub $300 drone that’s being marketed to bloggers. You basically press a button on it telling it the moves you want it to make and it takes off from your hand, does the camera move, and then flies back and lands in your hand. It’s wild, to be honest.

It shoots 4k, which is … ok … but I have better drones for stuff where I want 4k footage. It does shoot 60fps 1080p though, which allows you to get some relatively decent slow-motion footage when you edit on a 30fps timeline. So, for this kind of jackassery, it’s ideal.

Getting music that you can use online without getting copyright strikes is a bit of a drag, but I found Audiio, a subscription website where you can give it links to music you like and it will find music that kinda matches that vibe. It’s not cheap, but it is pretty good and the artists who make the music are getting paid, so it’s not bad either if you make videos.
