Another week, another industry to learn about.

This week: transport/logistics.

I’ve described myself before as a dedicated dilettante. I think to be a communicator-for-hire, you have to be. Yesterday, I was up to my eyeballs in the wine industry. Today it’s transport. Tomorrow it’s telecommunications.

I’ll never know enough about these industries to be able to work in them, but I’ll learn enough to be able to explain them to laypeople. That’s a skill in itself.
